Because.
the sims 3 used to take 3-5 minutes to load back in the day so i reinstalled it now for shits and giggles and it loaded a save file in ~10 seconds

My old man called me up, told me he was gonna get me some memory. We settled on pic related, 2x8 @ 3600 CL16. He said he was going to get me two kits for a 4x8 config.

He thinks just getting 2 2x8 kits of the same memory would work the same as a comparable 4x8 kit. I wouldn't know.
And hey, if it doesn't work, or if I get a little greedy with timing adjustments and fry it, I have a backup set I can use. My mobo can definitely handle it.
do you actually need 32gb and if so why not get 2x16
I'm only going to game at 1080p with high or maxed settings, so probably not.
Apparently 4x8 does offer a few extra frames compared to 2x8. That, and I dont know anybody who uses or tests with 2x16.
