what fucking theory do you read? do you donate to mutual aid funds? i am so fucking curious
I can think for myself and I don't need to read someone else's theory.
Instead I watch YouTube channels such as More Perfect Union. Private equity is one example of this country being screwed and it sickens me. The ways the rich screw us over is innumerable. Illegals and DEI are another example. This has completely soured me on capitalism. Hell look at what AI data centers are doing to the planet and electric bills. But politicians support them and don't give a fuck about the average person. Don't get me started on spending on the military.
Do you think for a moment that I am at ease because billionaire Elon Musk bought Twitter to give us a little more free speech? No. No single person should have that amount of power. What if he was against free speech like George Soros? In fact, Elon Musk is pro-Israel and his free speech has limits. He showed this when he banned a critic on Twitter.
It isn't just the rich. Unions are happy to screw over everyone else as long as they get a slice of the pie. Unions don't strike to demand prices of products go down. They don't strike to demand increases to product quality. They don't strike to end stock buybacks and end excessive executive compensation.
From the poor to the rich, capitalism isn't working. People are a shitty self-serving species.
While the USSR had its issues, if you factor out corruption, workers were give or take equal. That is the world I want to live in. Here and there I look into the Soviet Union and towards the end it wasn't that bad for the average person. We just think it was terrible because of US propaganda. There are Russians who felt the USSR was better than capitalist Russia.
Hell, the USSR was first to provide national healthcare. If a worker got sick, unlike the US, they didn't have to worry about losing their fucking house. Instead they could get well and go back to work.
And the fact the USSR did all it did without computers it amazing. If it stuck around, with technology, I think it would have been dramatically improved.
There is a lot more to it but that's good enough. You have to be pretty ignorant to believe the current system is working for the average person.
