I think you bought the wrong breed. Pro-tip, make sure that if you have the Rwandan breed, especially one of the older ones, you do not purchase another African, as they are highly territorial.

I made the mistake of buying one from the West African breed. It was extraordinarily lazy. I literally had to whip the d*mn thing to get it to pick the cotton and bring in the harvest.
