Person of interest in the UHC CEO shooting is identified as Luigi Mangione, an ex-Ivy League student, anti-capitalist, and climate-change activist

bippity bump

"Why the defense says the evidence shouldn’t be used at trial
Mangione’s lawyers argue the items should be excluded because police didn’t have a search warrant and lacked the grounds to justify a warrantless search. Prosecutors contend the search was legal and that police eventually obtained a warrant."

"On body-worn camera video played in court, Wasser was heard saying she wanted to check the bag for bombs before removing it from the McDonald’s. Despite that concern, she acknowledged in her testimony Monday that police never cleared the restaurant of customers or employees."
Wait wait lemme get this straight:

* Cops found bullets on Mangione's backpack
* COPS: "Oh he's totally the guy who shot him"
* COPS: "Yeah we don't need to actually do anything else, we got our guy, everyone else at McDonalds is clear to go"

They won't. This poor retard is the patsy.
the "actual rifle" wouldn't fit in that backpack. And there was no mention of him having a sidearm.

No one is going to break down a rifle that is not a break down rifle to leave a sniper position, to only reassemble same rifle, and leave it in the box it was sold in in the woods 600 yards away.

This is peak indian thinking.

I loathe this indian jewish bought tool more and more every fucking day.
Not to mention, the extra damning evidence of the bullets inscribed on.

So many non-gun gun experts on X telling me that it's a sintered bullet that's why no over penetration and small entry wound. motherfuckingUCKERS that rifle makes well over a ton of energy at 150 yards. There woudn't be anything left. BUH frangible rounds, nigga!!! Then why FMJ found next to the rifle in the woods?

Their answer, YOU ANTISEMITE!!

I was pretty sure that it was a 3d printed gun and his sniper position was like 5 feet away.

Im hearing that in body cam footage they searched the bag without a warrant, and didnt find a gun

The bag was then left with an individual police officer for 11 minutes with body cam turned off, and they then "found" gun

If this is true he should be let go just on that alone
i think hes actually going to get acquitted

prosecution have had to withdraw all of mangiones statements as evidence in court because he was interrogated without being notified it was being recorded, in violation of his rights under pennsylvania law

in violation of his rights under pennsylvania law
You really think that will matter in his court case?
Here are the basic facts/situations:
1. upper middle class dude wacks a CEO of a major healthcare company.
2. CEO is worth nearly 50 million dollars.
3. if mangione is acquitted on a legal technicality, it sends a message to the masses; killing an untouchable is possible.
4. The untouchables, will be in uproar and further shit on the rights of the little man as a punitive response further increasing the hatred among the classes.
5. Which means, ultimately more attacks/murders of the wealthy.

So to preserve order, they'll look at mangione's trampled rights, convict, and have him tied up for decades on appeal. So even if he is acquitted, he's "paid" for his crime. I'm guessing it will be about 20-30 years until his appeals are exhausted. Stalling works in the prosecution's favor.

If it ever makes it to the SCOTUS, then it's a flip of the coin. It depends what kind of bench it is and IF, a real big IF, if they want to actually hear the case, which in cases like this, they often don't. See, Derek Chauvin.

He may be innocent of the crime, legally due to violations of his due process, but the state will convict via slow-walking.

He's done. I doubt he sees daylight for the next 20-30 years on state charges alone. Plus, there are federal charges. So that's a separate legal battle altogether.

So even if acquitted of all state charges, due to the due process bunglers police officers on duty, andthe federal murder charge, Mangione is realistically looking at up to life for interstate travel with intent to harm/murder, traveling across state lines and causing harm/murder also carries up to life in prison, and using an unlicensed suppressor which carries a max of 30 years.

So life + life + 30.
He won't be able to beat the suppressor charge. He's being tried in a really anti-gun state, so it's very likely he'll get the max. Thirty years. Luigi N. Mangione is 27 now. So he could be pushing sixty if he's only convicted on that charge alone.

That's federal time. There is no parole for federal convictions committed on or after November 1, 1987.
