Can you think of a better looking flag than the American flag?

Quence resents trans women because they’re on average much skinnier than her

I like the Swedish flag’s colour scheme, but overall it’s kind of a boring flag.
you actually aren't wrong I prefer the royal banner with the Lion popularized by king Gustaf the 2nd Adolf, an actual banner that probably inspired the Cintra thematics in The Witcher too.

It's trad, it's based, it's for freedom and democracy, it's symetrical, it's not influenced by Israel, it's the country that was built by the literal grandson of God, it's not full of immigrants... what more is there to say?

It’s not influenced by Israel? Look closer at your flag. Radially symmetrical center piece, with sets of parallel lines. Sound familiar?

Yes, I think you are correct. Although a bit incongruous, overall it’s more interesting than the current Swedish flag.

Although it’s a decent looking flag, it relies too much on Chinese tradition rather than being 100% Korean. Too Confucian. Too yin and yang. And as we all know, yin is terribly anti-female.

America revived that flag for Korea after it had been suppressed by the Japs for decades. You’re welcome.

And let’s be frank: it’s not even in the same ballpark as the American flag in terms of beauty and majesty.

Quence Wisdom: a government in exile is not a government in power.

“The issue remained unpursued for a period but reemerged with the negotiation of the United States–Korea Treaty of 1882, also known as the Shufeldt Treaty.

The U.S. emissary Robert Wilson Shufeldt suggested that Korea adopt a national flag to represent its sovereignty. Immediately, king of Joseon, Kojong, ordered government officials Sin Heon [ko] and Kim Hong-jip to begin working on a new flag.

In September 1882, Pak Yŏnghyo presented a scale model for taegukgi to the Joseon government, it was created with advice from British consul William George Aston and British captain James, later Gojong approved the design.

The United States Army Military Government in Korea started to use the taegukgi alongside the flag of the United States on 14 January 1946. On 12 July 1948, the Constituent National Assembly of the Republic of Korea adopted the taegukgias as the national flag.”

Nothing you quoted here is anything remotely the same as what you had previously posted.

Incorrect. It completely affirms what I said PLUS it includes more information about the crucial role of the United States in the creation of the Korean flag.
> While USAMGIK initially restricted the use of the Korean flag, by early 1946, the military government began recognizing the Taegukgi, specifically in conjunction with the U.S. flag for official occasions following the Moscow Conference decision to establish a joint commission

This says that the Taegukgi was already being used as a symbol for Korea, the US gov't simply recognized it as such. They didn't revive shit, you can't revive something that already existed and was well known.

Note the timeline here:

The Korean National Assembly adopted the flag as its national flag 2 years AFTER the US first recognized it. The Koreans did the smart thing and followed America’s lead.

Classic Quence retardation. The Koreans used the flag long before the US gov't used in during their occupational forces. They used it because it already existed. Are you really this dense? ... what am I talking about, of course you are.

Ah but it was not the official flag of Korea. That required the guiding hand of the fatherly and caring Americans.
