color memory

I think it goes easy on you , one was suspiciously close and only off by a few points of saturation and lu osity and I'm not convinced they didn't change it to meet me halfway

i suspect so too... still fun tho, i guess.
i was a bit bored pre-coffee n ran it a few times. noticed i score higher if i pressed the corner button for the next color n closed my eyes for the 3 seconds before the new color was shown as opposed to leaving them open the entire time

youre right, i keep getting 8.0 to 8.4, humans are terrible at this
and/or our monitors are not helping
humans are not terrible at this. the only one saying that is the screen n there's no source for the claim

my only hypothesis regarding this is that artsy types would score a bit higher. in fin's case he paints n in doing so there's a lot of "adding a smidgen of this other paint to lighten/darken/change the hue/etc"
pingas draws/sews. there's a balance of color picking in such things. as for me sew/bead n while i focus on color some it's not as important as texture n whether or not it holds shape well

i want a varied array of responses tho. plz post an actual score.

The really hard ones seem to be the darkest shades of blue/green and just dark shades in general.
i find i do worse on colors i don't give a fuck about? i like a lot of teal n lighter shades of pink n find myself matching those just fine but when it throws a fleshy peach or an ugly beige shade i can't match it cuz i hate it

this does make sense... before i add this data to my science clipboard, are you on anything? or is this just your usual default settings (being asian)?
Usual Asian default settings

But also my spechul art eyes
