FUN FACT: The rock ptarmigan (lagopus muta) and the artic fox (vulpes lagopus), as you can see, have "lagopus" in their scientific names, so I suppose this hybrid is more closely related than it appears, and I suppose we could call this creature vulpes lagopus muta.

There was still some space on this paper to fill out, so I decided to draw a tropical counterpart to the griffin above. Came out really nice if I say so myself.
