Daniel Defense lost the contract with Spec Ops.
So now they are affordable.
Battle tested and less expensive.
Plus they are going through some legal troubles and are mass producing them sending the price even lower. **checks**
they used to be now they are about the same price 1.5K for an upper.
geissele markets themselves as a "precision upper," while DD goes for the "battle tested" route.
Basically the same thing. You can't really make an auto/semi rifle as precise as a bolt action.
Both excellent duty grade rifles, ie when the SHTF both rated for 35K+ rounds before failure.
LaRue makes Geissele type triggers at half the price.
Eh. A lot of the gun market is finding out what fits your budget. I have a couple of PSAs and many swear by them and are their SHTF rifle while some say nope and endorse X rifle maker.
I've had and built a couple of PSAs and never had a problem with them. I've put well over 2K rounds thorugh each.
Expensive.
What parts are you thinking of.
