I have a sony a6000 with a sigma 30mm 1.4 aperture so it's more like a 50mm on the crop sensor. I bought a sony to nikon adapter and use a bunch of various ebay nikon lenses and an inherited sharp as a motherfuckingucker 55mm 3.5 for macro stuff. Dude this nikon macro lens is so fucking sharp even on a crop sensor if it falls in your lap you'll cut your dick off. Only downside of the adaptor is no motion stabilization or auto focus....but that's really not an issue if you practice.

I have a Manfrotto tripod that is a fucking solid beast. Buy once cry once with tripods. I've gone through about 4. I do have a shutter remote that's a $10 amazon special for sony cameras. I really only use it for bulb mode.

If you wanna get into astrophotography you gotta get a really wide-angle lens with as fast of an aperture as you can afford. there's a bunch of calculators online that you can input your mm and aperture and it'll give you exposure settings that will minimize star trailing on long exposures.
