Well, since I read about the case I pretty fascinated by it, I'm fascinated with criminal history in general. I thought Emil was "cooler" in a way despite the fact he is always mentioned after Larry Phillips. He has a more unique name, he was taller, had the Bushmaster and died in a more violent way. After the two seperated, Larry just got into a back and forth shootout with police for a while then killed himself, whilst on the other hand Emil got shot 29 times and still fought through, until finally collapsing, being arrested and only then dying from trauma and excessive blood loss. Also, look at his face, he's like a chubby hamster

Right on. I thought it was wild that the LAPD let him bleed out for 70 minutes before allowing the amberlamps onto the scene. Definitely an interesting case

You would've thought medics would've taken care of him sooner, I doubt he wanted to live after that. He robbed a bank and shot 20 people with the majority being police officers, he was definitely getting a life's stay in ADX Florence, possibly even the death penalty, probably not since nobody died but still. Federal crimes are federal crimes, trust me, I'd know

I've heard the cops kept the EMTs from reaching the scene but there's a conflicting report that they refused to enter the crime scene since they were concerned about a third gunman. Either way, was definitely an interesting run those two had. Next time I'm in California I think I want to check out the police museum where they have their body armor on display, shit was way cool

I'd try and visit the bank itself, there are a few crime scene locations I'd like to visit before I die. A friend of mine who I knew in a different life visited Weston High School in Wisconsin before he died not too longer after and pressed his hand against the building, he said he felt an energy whilst he was there that spooked him and he left because he said he didn't wanna "get arrested or anything", weird kid lol.
