full disclosure i was watching a vid abt the nuclear incident where somebody mislabeled a jar peabody poured into a mixer n he was exposed to a gorillion sieverts of radiation n it's the most hardcore work prank of all time although his wife n nine kids probably didn't find it funny cuz he died like 2 days later.

i like lozen

i have no problem admitting that Lozen is 10 times better man than me. i liked the video, though i think he tries too hard to justify the cruelty by war psychosis alone. the woman that killed her twins could have done it out of post partum depression, or out of cultural reasons (i don't know if twins were seen as a bad omen in Apache culture or not). and the way that the little 6yo girl was killed was clearly for style points, and i don't care who says otherwise.

but also, i liked Victorio

i like the video too, despite the mention of porfirio diaz. apache are a bit of a blind spot for me, too. always leaned toward reading abt my own tribes or the ones i grew up around.
i like that he reads more than one book too. the variety of sources used is useful.

honestly, human pregnancy is just weird all together. being able to get pregnant year round is wild. like, in the middle of war/famine times? at least rabbits can reabsorb the pregnancy if it's inconvenient.
