Some time ago I made a thread announcing the wonderful vocaloid movie's appearance in polish cinemas... Now it's time to express my feelings about it.
I'm not good at reviews but gonna do my best (no spoilers)
The idea for the movie itself isn't too original but they did play it out just right
I expected to feel dissapointed with the amount of screentime some characters got but surprisingly I'm not. Some characters feel a little left out sure but I can only imagine how hard it could be to give each character the satisfying amount of time in only 130min.
Ofc the music was awesome. If you paid close attention you could notice existing album covers of vocaloid songs in some of the first scenes.
Thank god no one came up with the idea of making a polish dubbing. It would definitely be a disaster.
I even shed a tear. It moved me a little.
Maybe it's just my luck but many movies I see nowdays are so bland. They don't truly catch my attention for long, don't stay with me, don't give me any thoughts. They just are there I guess.
I can't complain on the animation, the characters looked like they do in the game (pjsk), as they were supposed to.
At the end of the movie after the credits there was even an aftershow, as if all of the movie was just an event in the game.
96% on rotten tomatoes, imo deserved
