Do black lives matter?

If they mattered, it would be obvious and there would be no need for a social/political movement or signs and protests that keep repeating it.

i was still trying to figure out if life matters in general. they seem to be a few steps ahead though, narrowing it down to specific skin hues and all. i'll look into it and see what kind of research they've done to prove this theory.

one popular theory says that your life matters exactly in as much as any economic value it represents

would that include of potential work or type of work?
The easy examples are the criminal justice system, medical system, etc., but what about the trashmen? or the carpenters, roofers, etc. are they listed or are those "menial" jobs even listed or considered.

Not arguing your point but asking about the actual theory because I think I've heard of something like that before but never really paid any attention to it because it sounded like rubbish.
