Ever read Solomon's Grimoires? The Bible has magic in it too. In the Kabbalah, it's an entire book dedicated to esotericism and mysticism from the Bible itself. For example, how there's 72 names of God, derived from "Yud-hei-vov-hei," which you're not technically supposed to say out loud, but since I'm Gnostic I believe that "Yahveh" = Demiurge, so he's not actually God, since the God of the New Testamemt aka Theos/Pater/Monad is not the same God as from the Old Testament who is God only of this universe. "Jesus/Christos" is actually Lucifer ("the Morning Star" aka Venus) and he was the serpent on the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in Eden who saved humanity from the Archonic God Yaldabaoth who Masoretic Christians worship. Even when "God" said they'd die if they ate from it - they didn't. "Adam Kadmon" in Kabbalah = Adamas. Everybody is a hermaphrodite in utero until they develop form. God tried to separate man from woman so we wouldn't keep oir natural form to weaken us, but "Eve" was actually Goddess Zoe (both mean "life").

Also, there's 72 names of God in Kabbalah, each three letters long, derived from YHVH, and 72x3=216 (see movie "Pi"). "YHVH" is the tetragrammaton (refer to Pythagorean theorem). Also, "Hebrew" isn't just a language of letters, but numbers also (mu h like Greek prime numbers). Kabbalah was made by reality hackers who were into hermeticism. For example, "Men-Yud-Kaph + El" = Mikael (Archangel Michael, for strength). That's how you invoke his name. Recite that name, read s Psalm (say Psalm 37 and 38) and you'll be invoking him for protection.
