I don't see a category for history, so I'm just putting it under Science and Technology.

First up on the list, Ancient Assyria - The first evil empire.

I'm going to spoiler the things that I learned.

Guess where all the other ancient cultures like Rome learned to be big old meanies from?
Oh my god.
The first eunuchs to prevent dynastic succession.
The first postal service.
The first complete destruction of a city and all of its inhabitants and the first bragging of doing so.

Middle Eastern niggas like the Assyrians will forever be interesting to me. For some odd reason there's a good few Afro-Asiatic (specifcally Semitic) cunts who appear in Irish folktales and it's inferred that either a) one of the Semite peoples intrebred to an extent with the Gaels or b) the Gaels are a Semitic race who left the Crescent/Middle East for Ireland and Scotland.

It's all weird to me.

Yes, that same channel has a history of the Celts video that I watch that is also very interesting.

One thing I forgot about Assyria, the first forced relocation of entire populations to separate them from their lands and integrate them into the culture absorbing them.

Thanks for simultaneously ruining the world and promoting multiculturism.
