First of all, I agree with the voice-over guy that she waited too long. She claims to be 34, but she looks older. She must have met someone along the way who would’ve been a good match for her, but for some reason it just didn’t work out.
Now, I think the voice-over guy is super mean spirited. He suggests that the woman simply partied through her 20s and had countless and meaningless hook-ups along the way until she suddenly realized, in her mid-30s, that she was unmarried and all the Chads and other desirable guys were either already taken or were not interested in her. But he doesn’t know if that‘s true.
I certainly don’t want to end up like her and feel like the clock is ticking and there are very few options left. Fortunately, I have many years before THAT will be a problem!
