until i saw this video it did not occur to me that YT crackpot "experts" are ranting that iodized salt is "evil" and "poison" and
"tastes bad", or you "don't need it anymore". the crackpots are easy to find, unfortunately.

and guess what: now iodine deficiency is on the rise, meaning more goiter and cretinism on the way


chasing "engagement" means anything goes.........even if it kills people (or makes more cretins, HEY THAT MIGHT BE BETTER FOR BUSINESS)

I have to find it again. There was a case where someone used ChatGPT for diet advice and got severe hallucinations from replacing table salt with sodium bromide.

A case study in a medical journal reported that the 60-year-old man replaced sodium chloride with sodium bromide after consulting the AI bot.

"In the first 24 hours of admission, he expressed increasing paranoia and auditory and visual hallucinations, which, after attempting to escape, resulted in an involuntary psychiatric hold for grave disability," the case report said.

Once his condition improved, the man shared that he had taken it upon himself to conduct a "personal experiment" to eliminate table salt from his diet after reading about its negative health effects. The report said he did this after consulting with the chatbot ChatGPT.
