Through the sea of macro micro transactions, pop-up adds, casual housewife pacifiers, gotcha mechanics, loot boxes, and all other forms of psychological hooks, there are few diamonds in the rough that can be deserving of being called games. Post them here for all to see. I'll start.
Probably spent the most time on this bullet hell roguelite. MTX are fair, P2W only goes so far, the grind is paced just right, vibrant community, and constant updates.
This one can keep you up at night if you're not careful. A nod to traditional roguelikes with lots of destructible terrain and one of the most killer themes I've ever heard. No micro transactions and the price to remove adds is well worth it. The one and only dev has a YT channel as well and updates once every few weeks.
