GRASSY KEY, Florida (ABC7) — A 22-year-old woman has died after she was accidentally stuck in a hotel window on March 19 in Grassy Key, Florida, according to the Monroe County Sherriff's Office Facebook page.
Sydney Therriault, of Beallsville, Maryland, was staying at the Pelican RV Resort & Marina when it appeared she did not have a hotel key and attempted to enter the room through the window. Therriault became stuck and asphyxiated, according to authorities.
The Sheriff’s Office and Marathon Fire Rescue were called to the scene at approximately 7:28 a.m. March 19 and Therriault was pronounced dead.
Investigators say no foul play is expected and autopsy results are pending.
