I hated it as a kid because the fat Asian kid died and I took it personally. But it did wake me up to the glory of latinas (I kinda think that's why my Dad rented it back then), so it was kind of a wash.

Then later Robert Rodriguez did Sin City and the Battle Angel Alita movie, so he's super cool in my book.
