With the announcement of Discord deciding to take a knee and cave in to the demands of the SJW/BLM bowel-movement, I believe it is only a matter of time until the ED discord is kaput.

Maybe I will be wrong about that. Anyway, the discord is shit. They already banned our favorite word from partnership channels. I have created a Malhub matrix at:

Matrix is an alternative to Discord, works much the same. I don't expect it to be popular overnight, but do make an account there. We won't be taking many moderators for the Matrix until numbers increase. But I am looking for someone with Discord experience to jazz it up.

In other news:

We have close to 100 people, I merged most of the socks, 90% coming from an IP in Boston off an account that is now registered to : [email protected]
 
The discord can always come right back, and it likely will. However multiple chat avenues would be nice.

Add some fucking rooms to the community you fucking mongoloid.

I'll mess with it this weekend. Right now I gave you admins (I think, or maybe just a room?) It is confusing.

Interestingly I found a discord plugin for Xenforo which integrates forum users automatically with discord. For example, being an admin/mod here gives you that authority.

Here is what we will do. I will switch to Discord with the plugin. And if we get shut-down we will have riot to fall back on.

There has been talk about getting a similar plugin for riot. Anyway, I like this plugin a lot and will implement it.
