That's exactly what they're trying to avoid. This is a conspiracy theory, but I think some of the never-ending lockdown orders have to do with not having a normal election in the Fall. The Left wants no debates, no in-person voting, no rallies (Trump has huge rallies), but they do want widespread mail-in voting because that's extremely open to cheating.
