For many decades, the european media has lied to its people about America. My uncle traveled around Europe way back in 1985 and he said the press was unbelievably anti-American in almost every publication and news program. The same is true today and I suspect it's because the European powers-that-be don't want their people to know how tragically inferior their existence is when compared to American grandeur.
