But Israel’s military is much more advanced than Iran’s and the IDF was able to neutralize almost everything Iran threw at it. Meanwhile, Israel showed its capability to launch precision strikes WITHIN Iran that not only destroyed Iran’s air defence systems, but it also targeted and eliminated INDIVIDUAL and high-ranking military personnel where they slept.

And Israel did this not by launching a bunch of missiles at Iran but by flying aircraft INTO Iranian airspace and purging the s-300 and s-400 air defence systems.

Expert: Iran Is Running Out Of Missiles, Production Of New Ones Is Impossible

The former head of the strategic division in Israeli military intelligence, Danny Citrinovich, has said that Iran's missile stockpile is dwindling. According to Iran International , at the start of the conflict, Israeli intelligence estimated that Iran had about two thousand missiles, but with constant strikes on launchers and production facilities, Tehran is finding it difficult to regroup and replenish its arsenal.

"They realize that this is a long war and are counting what they have left," Citrinovich said. Israel, he said, has air superiority and continues to strike key infrastructure. The expert also stressed that the elimination of the commander of the missile program, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, has seriously undermined Iran's operational capabilities.

Citrinovich noted that launching 100-200 missiles simultaneously is becoming almost impossible as Israel strikes at launching points and controls the territory. Production facilities have also been destroyed, and, he said, "what Iran started with is all it has left until the end of the war."

A Western intelligence source, who requested anonymity, said Iran's vulnerabilities have become apparent. He said Iran is unable to match Israel in either offensive or defensive power, and has avoided attacking U.S. forces to avoid drawing the United States into the conflict. "Iran is a paper tiger. That's why it is so desperate to possess nuclear weapons," he added.
