A used Gamecube. It was a cute console.

NES when I was 4 and played smb and duck hunt with the light zapper.
same, mine was flawed in that i could aim at specific spot on a bush and always hit the duck. i 360 no scoped 100% level 99 like that.
Kids these days! My first one was a Commodore 64; this was about 40 years ago. I also had an Apple ][c at school, like every other Gen-X kid.
Never played it much, all I could remember was I could never beat TMNT after getting stuck on the third level where you have to grapple to a specific roof
that game gave me so much rage as a kid...

My parents couldn't afford anything beyond clothes, roof and food, so games were a luxury. I learned to quickly make friends with anyone who had an NES or Game Boy. We finally got an SNES in 1992 after my grandpa died (likely after he had left some cash for my brother and I), which I thankfully still own.
I get it, Dendy's were just too expensive back then...
