Still baffled they let you keep your phone
I was in a halfway house for my 18th birthday. Got the meds needed to help with bipolar, but they certainly didn't like you having phones, personal items, or anything you could kill yourself or others with lol. Most outside contact I had was people coming to visit on designated days, or asking for the corded phone receiver to plug into the base when they felt like leaving us use it lol

I didn't have any electronic items in my room full-time except my LED string lights. I could keep my MP3 player in my room overnight, but if I needed to charge it, it had to go the staff office to get plugged in.*

*I was allowed to charge it in my room for the last ten or so days before my discharge, but that's only because the outlets in the office crapped out and stopped working.
