Welcome to the temperate forest, where there are no marshes, winters are milder, farming season is longer, and hunting is plentiful. Forgot to change Lurk's name, but this is easily fixed. Lurk M.D. for now, soon Rob fucking Zombie if it isn't too long.
Same as before, the Ediots found some ruins but there was this dark patch of dirt to the west, that's rich soil, 140% fertility, and Ediots set up shop there.
One growing zone for rice, one for corn, and one for the psychite, which I gues is Rimworld's coca. We'll need it later with some other things to produce yayo and refine it into go juice for the hussars. Barracks with future fridge next to growing zones to shorten the legwork, and prison/workshop at the other end.
The place has abundant steel and electrical components
And we won't have to wait for a caravan to buy plasteel for helmets and masks
We also have some muffalos if we wish to tame and get wool, or we can plant a cotton field and finally whip them lazy Ediots into doing some honest work.
The first day came to an end, and the Ediots colapsed on the floor and finally rested.
On day 2, the barracks were completed, allong with a wood stove, butchering table, and a social game for recreation
at the end of the day, the Ediots gathered to choose the colony's highest moral authority, and so Heidi the girl was chosen as the new Ediotic Commissar
Commissar Heidi thanked the people of EDF, and held a short speech, in which he summarized the plight of the Ediots, and elaborated his plans to usher the brighter future of EDF:
"The Ediots are beset from all sides by the enemies who hate us and envy our superiority, which stems from us being the only people to love freedom, to live for it, and to die sacrificing their lives on its grand altar. Therefore we need to adopt a new mentality, a siege mentality, if we want to have any chance to survive, and maybe some day bring that freedom to the oppressed masses, by the edge of the bayonet if need be, for those that oppose us reject freedom, and have in doing so rejected the right to life itself!
I have outlined a brief list of goals and ideals we need to achieve in the next 5 years:
1: to ensure bountiful harvests so are people will never want for food
2: to ensure comfort and protection from elements
3: to arm and equip our brave soldiers so they don't falter in the service to Motherland
4: to protect and educate our children, that they may grow up into valiant patriots, and shield of our people's freedom
5: to ensure the progress of medical science, so our people are protected from diseases, and drug fueled rage of our children is channeled in a way that benefits our community the best
6: to ensure electric lighting for the comfort of our people's homes, and the industrial means of production it offers to our craftsmen
Comrade Heidi finished his address, and a thundering "URRRRRAAAAA" came from all the throats. The goals were set, and the Ediots took first steps towards the brighter future.
