picked up the Trine games after literal decades
i forgot how magical and whimsical they really were, music and fairy tale atmosphere reminds me of fable. it's very refreshing in the era of grimderp dark fantasy and genre deconstruction
and even tho the original is pushing 20 years now the physics and puzzles don't feel dated
one think that didn't age well are the ps3 era graphics, which imo is the worst aged generation so far (maybe on par with the ps2 era games that tried in2 realism) but the atmosphere and music make you look past that
