i have these lovely drought resistant (it hasn't rained in a month and a half) native plants sustaining solitary bees (there are species that don't have hives). they cling to the flowers like this in the evening instead of flying off n you can just pet them n sing them to sleep.

Random assortment of landscapes and shite from some of my work trips.
First Altafjord taken south-east of Alta, just short of 70° North, taken last summer.
For some reason every fucking tourist in the area was fucking up the landscape by building shitty cairns.
Nature trail near my lodgings in Kirkenes this spring. Everything was basically brown as the trees had just started budding.

The sort of thing that would land Quence or Tim in jail over night for going apeshit in public.
My grotty grill setup on a rest stop by a little pond a stones throw from the soviet border.
Was going to go right up to the border, but there was some construction going on - laying down explosives under the road bed for all I know.

You pet bees when they're pollenating a plant since they're too focused on collecting the pollen to care about you touching them. I can proudly exclaim that I have touched many bees, I enjoyed it very much each time.
i will leave the bee petting to the bee experts. besides, i seem to be allergic to pollen and i have enough problems with my allergies working in a damned grain elevator.
