With the O9A and its downstream having been again brought into the spotlight with this shooting, I want to clarify some things.
I first became involved with the O9A and its American sister group Tempel ov Blood in 2004. The O9A itself has never been officially, directly tied to the CVLT/764/etc downstream, there is just a very strong overlap between these two populations - it's designed that way.
Having said this, the O9A has from its very inception been run by elements of intelligence agencies. The FBI directly bankrolled Joshua Sutter to a six figure amount long before anyone even knew who he was, and when I was involved with the Catskills nexion, every single one of the "leaders" were intelligence. There were people who I learned were FBI, CIA, DHS, Air Force, all of them. In England it's run by MI5/6 and same goes for Australia/Canada and their intelligence agencies.
CVLT/764 and their splinter groups were created as a subproject of MKUltra; specifically, the modern continuation of subproject 63 - the attempt to perfect satanic ritual abuse, to cause permanent depersonalization and turn someone into a walking weapon who will do as directed, when told to do it, with no regard to morality or personal safety. The terroristic aspect is the present day iteration of Operation Gladio; Russia has their own with the Russian Imperial Movement. It clearly is working.
Drill Sgt. Grey was specifically created as a subproject in and of itself; the accelerated creation of a tulpa that would direct a victim in absence of their handlers. This also clearly works, as anyone who has known O9A victims (which is what all "members" are) is aware.
When you "join" - really join, not just say you're one of them - you are immediately blackmailed through drugs, sex, or illegal firearms, and this is how they own you for the rest of your life.

In 2004 I met a "member" (handler) on an esoteric IRC. It was long enough ago I don't remember which one anymore. I was in the peak of my misanthropy and occult larp garbage at the time, so their entire (fake) ideology so to speak appealed to me a lot. I never did "get out", I'm still harassed and blackmailed to this day. They never will leave you alone.
