A person like a pope, cardinal, bishop, monsignor, priest, pastor, father, whatever not being able to handle the fact that one of their own did something terrible? That is not an unforgivable sin. However, it is very fucked up. Now that I've actually experienced all of the forces of the universe at play as an alter server at my highest rank, I get to see exactly what it is they have to deal with.
Although, with drugs in the mix, I think that I get to experience much more than most priest ever could. You have to make these important decisions with the only guidance that you are getting as these forces or pressures or ringing in the ear or other "signs" that you have to interpret like an auger.
It is very difficult. The only solution is to go to the crowd and ask for the answer which literally leads to "off his his head" which isn't the answer either.
People have to understand, if they have even read 1% of what I've written, that the universe, the forces, God, other people's will, the devil, spirit throwers, whatever ... all of these things have a way of coming back full circle on the person that perpetrated the act.
The act of dredging up the past to shove it in their face is something that is probably necessary as well. It literally says "ha not infallible not perfect not a god fuck you".
