The second arrest occurred just before noon on Sept. 29 when a deputy stopped a vehicle for failing to stop for a red light.

The passenger, Tardarius Sanders, 24, had outstanding warrants in Bessemer and Adamsville, officials said.

A deputy smelled marijuana while speaking with the people in the vehicle. A search revealed a black zipper bag that contained 12 grams of heroin, marijuana and hydrocodone pills, according to the police report.

Sanders admitted to the deputy the bag and the contents were his. He was arrested and taken to the Jefferson County Jail with bond set at $115,000.

A man was arrested at the Coastland Center mall Tuesday after a witness said he beat a girl unconscious for spurning his advances.

An officer from the Naples Police Department responded to a call at around 4 p.m. regarding a fight in the food court. Bruce Gordon, 37, told the officer that he had struck the victim, who police say is a juvenile, in self-defense after she had accosted him unprovoked.

But a witness reported that Gordon had responded violently after the victim had refused Gordon’s flirtation with her in the Panda Express line. The witness said Gordon swore at her, left, then returned to punch her repeatedly in the face and then kick her and stomp on her as she lay unconscious on the ground, not stopping until a bystander hurled a chair at him.

One witness says Gordon could have killed her, had the bystander not stopped the attack.

For him, it was just a normal lunch break and he was excited for the Panda Express he was about to have.

“Directly in front of me was a 17-year-old looking girl with what appeared to be her grandmother,” the witness said.

He says Bruce Gordon approached the girl on a mission. “I guess he wanted to start some sort of romantic relationship with her but he was very close and very intrusive,” recalls the witness.

The victim said no and wanted Gordon to get away from her. “It seemed to just happen and fizzle away. The suspect then walked away,” said the witness.

But the incident was far from over. Gordon came back, and the witness says, approached the victim at the table she was sitting at. “Delivered this blow to the person’s face and the victim immediately fell like a sack of potatoes. If I were hit in that manner I would have fallen in the same way,” he said. The witness describes her body as lifeless, lying there on the ground.

“Then after that he was continually pummeling while she was on the floor completely unresponsive,” said the witness. “The kind of beating that he delivered to this girl just looked like to me he had every intention of killing her.

Bystanders began throwing chairs at Gordon. The witness, himself, yelled at Gordon and began following him, taking pictures for evidence. He was waiting for the police to show up.

Why are white people so nonconfrontational? Like, every time they see something they don't like, all they do is just say "ooooooh-kay, oooooh-kay, oooooh-kay", like how you started each of your posts.

I mean, unless you're being all "oooo-kay" about the news cuz you feel responsible for it or something? But in that case, yay, not only are you nonconfrontational, but you also fuckin' feel guilty too... "I'm sorry for slavery but I'm not actually gonna stop you guys from killing each other." Dude, that shit happens, you don't need to feel guilty about it. Or at least, maybe you can start feeling guilty when you're not too busy smoking meth and fucking your cousins to stop your own kids from shooting themselves with the firearms you were too stoned and wasted to unload: https://www.wyomingnewsnow.tv/2020/10/12/boy-3-finds-loaded-gun-shoots-self-in-head-at-oregon-home/

I'm speculating that in your own goofy, incoherent way, you're trying to say that an irresponsible gun owner in Oregon proves the white race is as bad as BUCK WILD NIGGERS regarding the occurrence of infanticide. Your evidence is one tragic anecdote. FBI crime statistics show the per capita occurrence of infanticide is five times higher for BUCK WILD NIGGERS than for whites.

Lynn Marie Maher was a mother of four who was married to her high school sweetheart.

She and her husband, Travis, were high school sweethearts at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, who went their separate ways and later reconnected, their family member said. They rekindled their love in Iowa, married and moved back to Maryland about 10 years ago.

Lynn was a 7-Eleven employee in Waldorf, Maryland. A man wearing a surgical mask entered the 7-Eleven shortly before 1 a.m. Oct. 1, according to the sheriff’s office. After the robber got the money, he shot Maher and then fled. Maher, 49, was killed.

Gregory DeShawn Collins Jr., 22, of Waldorf, was located and apprehended in Georgia Monday, officials said. The Charles County Sheriff's Office coordinated with the U.S. Marshals Task Force to locate Collins.

Collins is currently awaiting extradition in Georgia and will be served an arrest warrant for the homicide upon his return to Maryland.

Davenport Police arrested a 24-year-old woman and charged her with murder in connection with Sunday's shooting inside the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant.
Treshonda M. Pollion, 24, of Davenport, is charged with first-degree murder Monday. She is accused of shooting and killing Eloise Chairs.

The shooting happened inside the restaurant at 903 E. Kimberly Road and Pollion fled the scene. She was later arrested and held in Rock Island County jail until Monday afternoon, when she was extradited to Scott County.
Pollion was booked into Scott County jail just after 3 p.m. Monday with no bond. She is expected to make her first video appearance Tuesday.

A friend of Chairs confirmed Chairs is the mother of five children.
"She was a strong black, powerful woman who took care of her kids and anyone who needed her helping hand," the friend said.
As of late Monday Davenport Police investigators have not said what motivated Chairs' shooting.

The shooting was reported at 7:38 pm. Sunday.
The restaurant was full of families and children at the time of the incident. No other injuries were reported.
