Hello,
Yes I'm still alive and have some good news for you wiki fags. But first the not so great....
We had a memory issue which was easy to fix (5 minutes) but took a week because nobody fucking told me. Well, someone did tell me on the wiki but I don't login there regularly. The best way to get to me with an issue is via discord or ask one of the other staff who will contact me via discord if they can't help you.
Second, don't be like this faggot:
Then lie like a dog when getting caught:
Because contrary to your inept opinion Camel, I'm not fucking stupid:
I don't mind Sibin or anyone else helping us out and even giving them a role, but don't act like you call the shots when you aren't even a fucking admin let alone a crat.
And if you you get caught with your hand in the cookie jar don't tell an obvious lie. The correct answer was;
"Sorry, I got butthurt because they kicked me a few weeks back and wanted to start my own ED but then realized nobody likes me and I have no money".
If you want to run your own ED, fine. But we know how that works out.
Now for the good news:
Using the power of my enormous
, we (as in me) overhauled Encyclopedia Dramatica's "Article of the Now" system by replacing the complex with a streamlined template system. Now editors can easily update featured content by editing just four simple pages (AOTN, QOTN, VOTN, POTN) instead of managing hundreds of individual date-specific pages. An new namespace (XOTN) was created and the .css page was updated. We added a scrollable display box that shows article on the main page and the boxes on the Main Page adjust their height now to be nice and equal.
The new system includes a submission queue for content suggestions, maintains all existing archives for historical reference, and automatically updates the main page whenever editors change the current featured content (by hitting "edit" in a XOTN box). This makes daily content management much easier. The archive pages still need to updated though.
I am working on a plugin, no guarantees, that will make submitting the XOTN even easier and update the archived pages automatically.
You can read more about it here:

And per usual, if you have suggestions or if a wiki nerd wants to make adjustments, go ahead.
The main page and XOTN needed an overhaul bigtime, and I'm glad to help.
