No, I am a borrower. I will not own your account and it will be returned to you.

Importantly, I am very trustworthy. I have done something similar in the past and I certainly paid what was owed. I will definitely compensate you at an agreed upon price. I would never risk my sterling reputation on EDF by not living up to our agreement.

Even when you borrow something like a rental movie or a rental car, you need to pay for everything first. Money first, then FB account.

The difference is that when you rent a movie or a car you get to inspect the product first before you hand over any money. You get a decent idea of what the product will do for you. OTOH, a borrowed FB account has an unknown level of efficacy until you use it. So, it makes sense to pay for the product immediately after using it.

It makes perfect sense, in that case you deserve to know that I have a Facebook account. Bear in mind renting a car or movie or RugDoctor doesnt mean you get to actually USE it before paying, it just means you get to shop around and see it's features. The same goes with buying something on eBay or Craigslist: it's called "assumption of risk" and that is something all buyers and renters need to understand before engaging with the purchase or rental.

So here is my Facebook account. It exists. Pay me up front to gain access to it, simple as that.

Well of course there's always some risk involved during a transaction, but the idea here is to mitigate that risk. People take cars for test drives. People see previews of movies before watching them. A Rug Doctor can be looked at and touched to make sure it is in working order.

It's me, Quence, a well known member of EDF and I simply need to BORROW your account for a very limited time. Plus, you and I are practically like siblings with all of the fun and friendly banter we've engaged in over the past few years.

Have I ever mentioned how much respect I have for the incredible nation of South Korea? Korea was a country that was literally cut in half and yet South Korea, through sheer determination and hard work and brilliance, turned itself into one of the top exporters and biggest economies in the entire world. Truly Amazing!
