Nonsense. I was a moderator on a previous version of EDF and I never abused my mod privileges (unlike some people). I never threw a tantrum and banned people from posting simply because of something they said or because they had a better argument than me (unlike some people). I never crippled the board and removed popular features simply because some people were clever or used features to great effect (unlike certain social outcasts who sperg rage over ridiculous stuff).

why not just use cloudflare or create a homebrew cloudflare system using several servers kinda daisy chained , to help aggregate traffic in case of a ddos attack
edit: what i mean is basically connect multiple servers to webhost ip and mask the "true" server behind wall of servers that are just there to kind of take the massive traffic as is. ofc you'd probably need unlimited tier bandwidth servers, something like Hetzner that just re-routes traffic
