DMs from a teenage retard

i watched a stop motion art film yesterday n briefly felt like logging in your film recs thread to post it but even that has been sidelined by a shrieking harpy crying about a film they never watched
anyways, phil tippett's "mad god" which he started working on back in 1987. very heavy on the visual aesthetics
Was it just this and the Jurassic Park special effects?
I don't really understand how someone can develop their craft to the extent that they've created something this masterful without at least a bunch of other stepping-stone projects, maybe there really is such a thing as talent

Shouldn't have come back it was all wiped
Only came back to talk to Minty and Raptor_j and Weedville
all i've been doing is listening to music and making some, also i frequent a music website now instead of here
been mainly focusing on doing avant-garde metal type stuff

nobody takes the time to do stop motion anymore. i get why, extremely time consuming and meticulous when they can get the same shapes from combining millions of virtual triangles.
it depends on how corporate you're going
Stopmotion is...
a title to another stop motion movie i would recommend :meow:
and came out like, last year or the year before?
there were also the early angry birds toons after the game became a hit and they tried to expand. they did like, looney tunes style clay stop motion and they were actually pretty entertaining to watch.

a lot of big studios do not care about art or art forms and hate having to spend money. they are increasingly unwilling to take risk. as such, practical effects and actual art made by human beings, and even physical media in general, are dying out.

he had a bit of credits on imdb
in general most of it is practical effects, like the bugs in starship troopers, and the ed-209 in robocop

apparently his studio, tippett studio, was the visual effects lead on the 2-5 twilight movies. gotta pay the art supply bills somehow...
