I talked to some Blackhawk Crewchiefs at Fort Knox, and was told the crewchiefs do everything and also shoot. In the AF it is more specialized. (Engines, Avionics, Weapons, Hydraulics, and Crewchiefs who or more general maintenance).

The air frame is retired now but there was an mos that was avionics and armament. You ever thought about going Warrant? I was putting together a WOCC/Pilot package for the Army, but the AF approved my crosstraining for Cyber. Ended up shitting that up anyway. Army flight aptitude test was significantly easier the the AF one. Also they used ASVAB scores whereas the AF had you take an IQ like test.
