He also thinks me admitting I don't use Wikipedia means I'm too stupid to figure this out and run scripts when I have a CS degree. Hence how I got a nearly complete wiki back up in 12 hours vs three months of whatever AEDIOT was doing.
My only regret is I wasn't here when ED went down before AEdiot got it in his head to make a quick buck out of it. Could have saved almost a year of stupidity.

apperantly all european languages except basque and maybe a few others have their roots in a theoretical reconstructed language called Proto-Indo-European (PIE). This explains many similarities they all have amongst themselves as well as Iranian and Sanskrit
For instance latin mater and english mother are obviously related. Zeus (greek) and Deus (latin) are related. I can make a list of interesting relations later

Correct. Daughter is another example, in English, greek, Sanskrit and Persian. Cow/Gau/Bous/bos.
Ironically some words were skipped but exist in other, farther flung countries.
