I'm not sure what to make of that band. I love goth rock..... but are they? They're stuff is fun n poppy to sing to, but they definitely want that dark foreboding vibe. I haven't heard alot of their stuff, do they have like heavier riffs or more bass in some of their other songs? I do like Dance Macabre, but it don't feel gothy to me. More 80s pop.
they're style is pretty solidly like that, they don't really get heavier and rarely do they get any lighter. afaik, Ghost has 4 records out and what ive heard of their first two isn't quite as polished as the the others. might be an interesting show to go to, seems like they really put a lot of effort into their stage presence. so far Cirice is my favorite song, and video.
hard to tell nowadays who's listened to what, but if you havent heard of The Awakening already you might like their early stuff like this and this. ashton's newer stuff runs the range from elevator music for emos to idunno europop i guess.
