She has 4 kids, 3 of them have red hair and pale white skin like her, her husband/boyfriend also has red hair

this is a myth. most child support cases go unpursued. the guy can just not pay and its up to the woman to chase them down and take them through the legal process

You're misunderstanding. If the parents don't decide on child support payments together, the court will decide who pays and what they pay.

The difference is, even if you're on bad terms with your ex, they'll only ask you to pay what they think they can get you to pay.

If the courts decide, they'll get you to pay what they know you can pay.

Second option is always worse.
