well keep your nose clean and you could petition to have your 2A rights reinstated. Don't ask me how a right can be suspended, but ok. Other states don't consider black powder firearms firearms.

I would see if there is any way of re-examining the sentence. It's a long shot considering WI, but if you could have the crime expunged due to say X years of staying out of trouble and youthful indiscretion, it could work.

What was the injury. What was the extent of the injury. Did you punch him? Doesn't sound like you used the knife at all.

well you don't have to make it easy for the cops. You have the right to remain silent. sounds like you should have used it.

Because in 10 years you could say this is a really stupid thing you as a kid did and over the 10 years you've graduated HS, been gainfully employed for X years, shoot for every year after 18, there are felon work programs, research that. Get working, show that you have turned the page, it was a really stupid thing you did, etc., and you have learned from it.

SB charge was over a year after the knife incident. Hit him with a broom *one time* and concussed him.

Yeah. you need to stay out of trouble. Like not even a parking ticket, from now on. Avoid this guy. If he attacks you or harasses you then record it. You can show the court that this guy is instigating the whole situation. See if you can "work down the sentence," or see what legally what can be done. But stay out of trouble. If you know he hangs out somewhere do not go there.

Fuck I have to deal with assholes as well, I don't invite situations, I know it sounds like cowardice and honestly sometimes it really bothers me that I have to change my plans to avoid these types of people, but it's better than getting into a confrontation and me having to use force. You need to practice impulse control. Which as a younger guy you don't really have that ability yet, your frontal lobes are not fully developed.

Judge already says I'm to have no contact with him. Doesn't bother me any. I did that because I wanted him to leave me alone. Guess I got what I asked for.
