I think it's not always necessary to buy hot sauces instead of making some on your own. Just mixing together vinegar, black pepper, habanero and jalapeno or paprika makes for a good self-made sauce. I've been let down so many times when I just pick up randomly something supposed to be a hot sauce and the thing tastes like it's almost nothing but paprika.

I only get fooled when some products have depictions of actually hot chilis, but to the truth contain like 0.01% of it because I couldn't be bothered to read what it contains. In Finland this remains to be my favorite because it's ubiquitous and tasty.

Some of this and a slice of ham between a bun. I don't know if my taste buds are fucked but the taste in my mouth after dining slightly resembles of salmiakki. Would slather again.
