I don't trust people who don't like sweets

i dont get that bacon vanilla smoothie

right it's like americans haven't found out you can actually make something sweet taste great if you put salt in it and not just make it completely sweet
Americans don't appreciate the importance of pairing food with beverages. If youre having something sweet, you need an unsweetened, somewhat bitter beverage with it. I cant drink a sweet coffee with dessert. Has to be strong and astringent

Concur, but I'm picky. I don't want something with cheap, garish flavors. Butterscotch, coffee, rum raisin, and mint all work.

Never got along with a person who didn't love sweets. If you can't put down a pint of ice cream in one sitting, you have something wrong with you

I'm not sure where you're getting that idea. I see American people consuming all sorts of salty and sweet things. Salted caramel seems to be popular. Heck, people even put salt on their watermelons.

OP's thread smacks of a addict identifying other addicts. Cant tell you how many times a drinker said to me, "Good I don't trust anyone that doesn't drink."
What the fuck? (honor among thieves)
So when I told a guy I worked with, I no longer drink, he abruptly stopped being my friend and openly was working against me. For fucks sake are you people that obvious and insecure?

It's such an immature thing for that guy to do. You don't need him as a friend because people like him tend to be self-centered and their topics of discussion inevitably lead back to the devil's water.

It's similar to people who are fond of consuming the Evil Weed. They love talking about their relationship with the Evil Weed above all else to the exclusion of interesting topics.
