First up is a guy named Jack Barsky (née Albrecht Dittrich) who was born and raised in East Germany, joined the KGB, and was a sleeper agent who spied on the United States from 1978 to 1988.
He eventually left the KGB, became a resource for U.S. counterintelligence agencies and was allowed to remain in the United States.
