So how do they close? they gonna graft some of his ass to his arm?The black pieces are sponges that go into the wound. Theres a hose that goes into them n sucks shit out. The whole thing gets covered in plastic wrap n hooks up to a pump.
His sites infected. Idk the context here n idgaf its more ppl being POS to each other over politics im sure, but that looks like a surgical site or fasciotomy that they reopened, its not long enough for compartment syndrome but it does look shitty af. Was he burned?View attachment 2835
what kind of graft is that?
Depends if they can get new tissue n granulation to form on the site. And how deep it is and what was involved underneath. So how do they close? they gonna graft some of his ass to his arm?
I see them all the time on cardiothoracic pts that have healing sternotomy wires. Its not a graft, its a wound vac.
They place wound vacs on wounds that have alot of drainage, usually full of pus, or to provide constant irrigation, or if the wound is so gaping theres not enough tissue to close the huge hole inside.
Usually you see them on bedsores that have gone down to the bone, or diabetic ulcers or necrotic surgical sites.
Occassionally burn or trauma victims get them too bit only as a last resort.

Hey don't be so hard on him. He may have worked for the VA.Because he was a gun toting felon wearing a hat that said paramedic, thus impersonating a healthcare worker.
Well now he can experience what actual paramedics and field medics experience. Ppl arent usually very nice to prehospital workers even when we try to save them.Because he was a gun toting felon wearing a hat that said paramedic, thus impersonating a healthcare worker.

Im glad hes getting to have the fully immersive VR sim. I cant wait until a med seeking jackwagon decides to puke on him, grab his junk m start furiously mastubating while he tries to start an IV on veins that feel like theyre filled with concrete.
Hey who needs to keep their left arm? Not that guy he just tied a field tourniquet on whose wrist just turned purple! As a felon? Lol I had to be fingerprinted to be there as a student.
He just wanted to larp as a paramedic by pouring milk in protester's eyes and applying tourniquets to non-arterial bleeding.

Probably caused far more harm than good. but he was a "soldier." His "Call of Duty" was real.He just wanted to larp as a paramedic by pouring milk in protester's eyes and applying tourniquets to non-arterial bleeding.
