If people simply TALK to each other and are HONEST about what they want in a relationship up front, it would eliminate 90% of the problems people encounter in the dating scene.
For instance, many men are not thinking about longterm coupling when they’re dating, but many women are thinking about the endgame (especially if they’re in their late 20s to 30s) which is marriage. If these things are known upfront in a relationship, then a lot of strife and heartbreak can be avoided.
But then there are the girl-boss type of women who were told “You can have it all! Don’t settle down in your 20s, don’t get married, and don’t start a family. Use your best years to career climb and have fun.” Many of them age out of their prime years and end up unmarried, childless, and alone. It’s very sad.
