I finally told them all off this year and they just completely fell apart. I'm too lazy to explain the details, so to sum it up, my parents fell into a bunch of ill gained money, and turned into complete shit heads overnight. Every miser money grubbing stereotype basically. Technically my dad embellished his account and laundered money from government loans so he could put it into his personal bank accounts, and used it to fund his investments. Now he's off shoring his money to Cayman Islands for tax evasion. He is a good Christian man who follows the laws and teachings of Christ mind you.
So after calling him out on that in front of the family, he blew up on everyone and started gaslighting me, making a bunch of really bizarre accusations that I owed money to customers and that I'm in hug debt, based off of a throw away reddit account. Yes, literally, he was believing some guy on reddit badmouthing my company, and decided to threaten to sue me to shut down my company and take away my home. I inherited a home this year after my grandmother died. I know they can't take the title, but it won't stop them from hiring lawyers and hounding me. They don't need the money or the house at all, they literally just want to use it as a means to attack their kid. I've decided to refinance it and take out a loan against the house to help fund my business. I don't need to, but it would help. And it will be good karma. They don't want me to use the house to fund my ventures, at this point though I want to do it just to spite them, even if that's kind of petty. At least I'm using the money for something smart like investments instead of blowing it on hookers and blow.
Anyways this post is a bit incoherent and missing a lot of back story but my head is foggy and I can't think straight right now.
