Both... really interested, and an old family friend spent years in Hong Kong after we got to know him in Portland. Banking.. made millions... I was fortunate enough to inherit a few small pieces. The jade dragon is really cool. This cat was really interesting archaeologist as well, penning a short photobook called
"Dragon Mask Temples of the Central Yucatan".

If they're from hong kong they could be worth a ton of money. Generally speaking, when Buddhism became widely accepted in China, Buddha was usually depicted as a fat fuck to offset the Buddhist teachings of modesty/temperance (at that time, trade was very important for China's economy and they were worried if Buddhism became too popular people would stop being greedy capitalists)

basically if it's normal buddha they could be really old which means they're worth $$$

Hmmm... the Buddha does not appear as a fat fuck in these three (and one smol) depictions, but I would not even have them appraised, much less sell them. Besides, as a fat burger, what would I do? Go blow $$$ at McDonald's?
