I was actually talking about your wall switches. Freedumland used to have switches like that in the 30's. They were push pole switches though. Totall art deco now.

No they are normal sized. A double gangbox is roughly 4in by 4in. (8x8 in unicorn measurements you use) They just seem large and strong because you are so tiny.
