Decided to give Hades a go.
Fun, though a tad repetitive.
I am a bit disappointed that Zeus still hasn't given me a blessing that turns me into a swan or some shite to seduce my opponents.

do you want to violently spike your ps5 controller over a game that looks like it would be meant for 7 year olds? play fs

specifically, play as jet.

the game is fun, essentially splatoon with a more character based (think hero shooter) aspect and more strategizing involved but i pray that foamstars doesn't become concord ii: electric boogaloo, cause with current activity levels it takes 10 minutes to find a normal match

Also, WWE 2K24 (actually waited a few months to pick it up used for like 20 dollars, this is my strategy with the yearly release games when I rarely pick them up)

ALL OF THEM are unfinished and require significant patches to make them playable.
This wasn't the case back in the 360 days, since updates were less common, developers took a long amount of time before release to wait for bugs to be fixed. thats why games like skate 3 have so many bugs (99% of which you can use to your power while online) or why looking at a certain replay on bo2 can give you a mod menu, these things werent patched (or were found after the game stopped being updated). nowadays it seems like releasing unfinished games is normal to these devs so I pick up a copy after the release hype is dead and most patches are made to not have to deal with bugs ruining everything.

QA testers cost money.
Player testing is free, hell - the players will sometimes buy the Super Speshuul Platinum Grade launch edition with x days of early access for MORE money to play test your piece of shit software for free.
Rolling releases is why I could not be arsed to stay with software development.

Free-to-Play + In-Game Purchases = A Crippled Game for Anyone Not Willing to Spend Their Sheckels

Heck, that’s true even for games we PAY FOR that have in-game purchases.

Who is to blame? The spergs who are always willing to buy their way to victory in combination with game houses owned by public companies that are desperate to increase their stock prices because their C-suites are paid with equity.
